The Second Book of Commandments is a revelation collection associated with Robert C. Crossfield and the School of the Prophets stream of Mormon fundamentalism.
Crossfield, who also used the religious name Onias, reported receiving revelations beginning in the twentieth century. These revelations were directed toward church leaders, priesthood holders, Mormon fundamentalist communities, and the broader Restoration movement. The collection presents itself as a continuation of the commandment tradition found in earlier Latter Day Saint scripture, especially the Book of Commandments and the Doctrine and Covenants.
The Second Book of Commandments contains revelations arranged into numbered sections. Its subjects include repentance, priesthood authority, church leadership, plural marriage, judgment, gathering, prophetic authority, and warnings to different Restoration groups. The book is not part of the LDS Church, Community of Christ, or other larger Latter Day Saint canons. It belongs to the Crossfield and School of the Prophets stream.
Used by: Robert Crossfield / School of the Prophets stream and related small restorationist or fundamentalist circles.
